Can I park my car on campus?

Do you have free Wifi on campus?

We have free WiFi available across the University campuses. For details on how to access the network, please click here.

I am no longer able to attend an event taking place at the University, who should I inform?

If you registered for the event through Swansea University’s online booking portal, please contact events@swansea.ac.uk or call 01792 295665. Alternatively, if you registered for the event through a different method, please contact the event organiser directly.

I have a special dietary requirement, are you able to cater for it?

We pride ourselves on our ability to prepare and adapt to guests’ dietary requirements. Please advise us via your event organiser. If you would like to discuss your requirements in more detail, please contact us on events@swansea.ac.uk or 01792 295665.

Is there a change for accommodating my special dietary requirements?

We endeavour to provide alternatives at no additional cost to yourself. In certain circumstances, where we incur significant cost in providing a special diet (for example, a strict Kosher diet), we will pass on these additional costs. However, we will always inform you of this in advance of your visit.

Are your buildings and residences accessible for people with disabilities?

All of the University’s buildings meet strict accessibility criteria including wheelchair access; the provision of hearing loops in all lecture rooms; and consideration given for blind visitors. We also have a number of adapted rooms in all of our residences, so that everyone can enjoy a stay with us.

‘I need to arrange for my room to be set up’

Speak to your Events Officer and they will be able to arrange this for you.

‘My booking is after 6pm or on a weekend – What do I do?

Contact a member of the Events team and they will be able to arrange this for you.

What time is reception open for check-in?

Our reception is available 9am-5pm on weekdays, with a reduced service outside of these hours, therefore check-in is strongly encouraged between 2pm-10pm on your organised day (or days) of arrival.

Do I need to bring a towel?

We provide towels as part of our standard packages here for more details.

Do I need to bring a hairdryer?

Unfortunately, hairdryers are not included in our accommodation packages.

Do you have televisions in the bedrooms?

Unfortunately, we do not provide televisions in bedrooms.
