Bay Campus Turns LILAC

LILAC, the Librarians’ Information Literacy Annual Conference, will take place at Swansea University’s Bay Campus between 10th and 12th April 2017

The annual conference is aimed at librarians and information professionals who teach information literacy skills, are interested in digital literacies and who want to improve the information seeking and evaluation skills of all library users.

The three day meeting will be hosted in the Great Hall complex on the Bay Campus and will bring over 300 library and information professionals from across the UK together to share best practice and take part in discussions, workshop sessions and to hear from an exciting line up of Keynote Speakers including: author and librarian Barbara Allan, Social and Educational Technologist, Josie Fraser and Champlain College, Vermont’s Associate Library Director, Alan Carbery.

As well as providing a packed formal conference programme, LILAC is also offering delegates plenty of opportunity to relax and unwind over the course of the three days; with a networking evening in the incredible Sir Stanley Clarke Auditorium on the opening evening and a formal conference dinner and awards ceremony off-site at the Brangwyn Hall on Tuesday 11th April.
