Children in Need Comes to Swansea University

This Friday Swansea University is delighted to be providing the venue for the BBC Children in Need Appeal Show.

From 6pm until 10pm, Welsh tenor and broadcaster, Wynne Evans, will be hosting Pudsey’s Big Welsh Party from the Sir Stanley Clarke Auditorium in our flagship Great Hall conference venue on the new Science and Innovation Bay Campus.

The live broadcast which has already sold out will feature performances by Wynne himself; as well as from Baby Queens, the Tenors of Rock, Jodi Bird and the Children in Need Choir.

‌Following the live Appeal Show on Friday, BBC One Wales will broadcast Pudsey’s Big Welsh Party on Saturday 19 November. The highlights programme will include all the best bits from the Appeal night, and will include a roundup of the exciting range of events and activities which have been taking place across Swansea University and around Wales.
